Benefits - Paid Leave
Vacation Leave
CIS provides paid leave to full time non-SCA employees each year for the primary purpose of allowing them an extended period of rest and relaxation. SCA employees are provided vacation in accordance with the Wage Area Determination guide. The amount of vacation leave full-time employees receive each year increases with length of employment, as shown below:

Personal Leave
Five days of paid personal leave are allotted annually for use as needed for all full-time employees on certain programs. Personal leave accrues each pay period as a portion of the five days. The extraordinary part of this benefit is that annual carry-over is allowed for up to 18 days. Personal leave may be used for personal illness or injury, approved medical appointments, or to take care of personal business that cannot be addressed outside working hours.
Holidays
CIS offers all full-time employees 10 paid holidays per calendar year. Part time employees receive holiday benefits on a prorated basis.
Bereavement Leave
CIS employees receive full pay for up to three days leave upon the death of an immediate family member.
Jury Duty
CIS encourages employees to fulfill their civic duties. Therefore, while on jury duty, employees will be paid their normal compensation, less the amount paid by the court, for up to ten days.
Military Training
If an employee is called to perform military reserve duty, CIS will ensure that the employee receives full pay (less military pay) for up to ten days every calendar year.
